Does anyone know how to turn off the encumbrance feature of GP? The process was inadvertently done and now it is in the way as client has decided not to use it.

Void a scheduled payment in a closed year
We have a scheduled payment from 2013 that has nothing applied to it that we need to get rid of. It will not let me post scheduled payments or anything because the period is closed. How do we get rid of this? Opening the period is not an option and removing it from SQL is also not an option. Please help!

No I believe that should only return the portion of the Invoice back to Open - then when you create the new Credit Memos you will be able to apply them to the open portion of those invoices.

Purchasing Module - error in accounts selected
I have posted 4 credit memo entries in the GP Purchasing module that did not affect accounts payable. Entries were: debit to a balance sheet - long term debt account and credit to a profit loss - cost of goods account. We have applied these credit memos to corresponding payments so there is nothing outstanding. AP to GL reconcile is out and as well as (I THINK) the profit loss - cost of goods account needs to be cleared. I know have made an error and now I need to adjust the profit loss - cost of goods account and the corresponding entry would be to AP. Can I post this entry WITHOUT it affecting anything else. How do I proceed? thank you.

Syed, when you open SSSM - find the Dynamics database, then the Tables list - expand, then find Activity ( near the top ) and then chose EDIT table
What results here should allow you to do is - highlight the line with SA as user and click on DELETE
Again, no one in GP, SA is not logged into GP

in GP2015 SQL2014 when try to login it says the user is already logged and when try to delete the user, following message pop up, "a remove operation on table sy-current_activity cannot find the table" and when click on "more Info" another weird message pop up saying ," Microsoft [SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server] object name 'xxx.CO00201'
2nd time it will say "exception_class_script_illegal_op" script_cmd_open

Deborah, there are are no Trx Dates or Posting Dates?
I can't really help to much as I do not have access to the US payroll - we are all Canadian Payroll up here. I am sure that there is someone that will tell you what you are missing.

Would any one know if there is a way to add the Transaction Date in the Payroll Transactions History smartlist? We have the columns for Beginning and Ending date, but not for the actual transaction date.

I am getting a message that says 'column layout is in use by me' for the bal sheet report. This is preventing me from editing the date to generate the current month's report.

When running Check links, did you select "Receivables Open Transactions Files".
It could be the DCSTATUS has the incorrect Status in the RM00401.
You will also want to check the records don't appear in the Work and Open Tables already, which Check Links should fix.
As always make a backup and run in Test first before changes to tables.

I have a client who got the RM batch posting interrupted while working remotely. The error message comes up as follows "Microsoft(SQL Server Native 10.0)(SQL Server)(Violation of Primary Key constraint PKRM00401. Cannot insert duplicate object 'dbo.RM00401. The duplicate key value is 9, 055010). I found the 96,000 line duplication in the RM00401 table, but the column name where they're at is "(No Column Name)". How do I delete these duplicates to get her batch recovered and unstuck please?

Sat,
Depending on your connections in DRM, you will need to update the Default Connections in DRM, and any specific Report connections, as you may have DSN assigned with a username and password. Be sure to check which type of ODBC connection is currently used, as Native Client may fail with Crystal reports in DRM.
