We have several employees that have had to pay additional tax this year...meaning that the payroll is probably not working as it should...we are opening a support ticket to resolve...and I am not talking about a small amount
As for a service pack...we run 3 payrolls.. 2 weekly and 1 monthly...at year end..for us to apply the service pack through the christmas season..after the final weekly payroll is done I have to come in over the holidays and update the server and EVERY machine with the payroll\service pack update...before the monthly payroll (Jan 1) is run...working well into the night so the monthly payroll is run and submitted in time for the bank to process for Jan 1. We have 1 machine that runs payroll. Because it is a service pack and not just a payroll update...we have either have everyone stop working until the update is complete..on all machines...basically stopping production for 1 day to apply a payroll update?
Not to mention the forced update to latest greatest version of GP with features that dont work...and most of which we dont need or use....and the main module that we done use (manufacturing) hasn't had an update in the last 3 releases and still has the same inventory allocation issues it did in GP 10.
