They have recently upgraded and are now using Requisitions and Encumbrances. Since then, she is unable to edit POs, cancel remaining line items, or close the PO line and PO in order to release the encumbered amount. If we try to cancel the remaining QTY, we get an error that there is not enough committed which is odd since the cancelled amount * the unit costs works out to exactly the correct amount remaining on the PO and encumbered.
We cannot simply close the line item and PO because, when we do, it acts as if it works but then we go back in to the PO and nothing is changed so the amount is still encumbered. She has a slew of POs that are encumbered and she needs to know quickly how to clean them out as they are near their year end and the managers need to know how much they can spend before the end of the year.
