Trying to record within GP 2015 R2 and then run the macros within GP 2015 R2, but cannot do so without errors.
Recorded a macro to run after my 3rd party order entry window is already open. First lookup and select a Customer ID - Aaron Fitz' and then enter a line in the scrolling window. Stop Recording.
When I try to run the macro, I get "Cannot type to field. (Line #9)" and a big red X.
The interesting thing is that there is nothing in the Customer ID field, and that should have been set before the macro gets to the scrolling window on Line 9. Which explains why I cannot type in the scrolling window - a valid Customer ID must be entered first.
Any suggestions, or details of what has changed with macros recently? We've recorded them on the same window in previous releases with no problems. This window has heavy use, so macros are a necessity!
BTW - I searched for other problems with macros and tried several things from those posts. For example, I have the Window Command Display set to "Menu Bar" - it didn't seem to make any difference to the results when I had Action Pane or Menu Bar.
